FAQ

  • How far do you ship?
I take care of everything from start to finish. Delivery is available within a 4-hour radius from Boston, and I use a rental trailer with a ramp to safely transport your cold plunge. Delivery is usually between $250-$500, based on distance. You can also pick it up for free at HQ in Stoneham, MA.
  • Can I build different types of cold plunges and use different siding?
No, not at this time. I stick to a specific design and use the same materials for efficiency. By streamlining the process, I can ensure a high-quality product at a fair price and deliver it to you in a timely manner.
  • Can I make slight modifications to the cold plunge design?
Absolutely! I understand that each customer has unique requirements for their space. I'll work closely with you to ensure the cold plunge fits perfectly. I can make slight adjustments to the length of the tub, the placement of air registers, the location of the drain, and even the electric outlet placement. Your satisfaction is important to me, and I strive to create a cold plunge that suits your needs. Tell me what you want, and I'll let you know if I can do it!
  • What is the turnaround time for building a cold plunge?
Since each cold plunge is custom-built, the typical turnaround time is around three weeks. I take pride in crafting these cold plunges with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality and durability for your enjoyment. Rest assured that your cold plunge will be worth the wait.
  • Can the cold plunge be placed outside year round, even during the winter?
Absolutely! The cold plunge tubs are designed to thrive outdoors year-round, built to withstand the elements with durability and reliability. The tub is so well insulated, I'm not worried about the tub freezing over, but there are some best practices to avoid the plumbing lines from freezing. In the colder months, you have two options: Option 1: Plug the inlet and outlet water lines, and drain the lines. In this scenario, remove the pump, filter and chiller and you can use the tub as a freestanding unit with no filtration system. Option 2: If you prefer to maintain water filtration during winter, you can remove the chiller while still using the pump and filtration system. For this option, ensure that the plumbing in the mechanical closet is well insulated (we'll provide instructions on how to do that). It's crucial to monitor water flow daily to ensure the GFCI hasn't tripped and to avoid water stagnation and freezing. Please be aware that while the cold plunges are designed for winter conditions, it's advisable to stay vigilant about the weather, especially during severe cold fronts. I do not assume responsibility in the event of freezing or related issues. Your enjoyment and maintenance of the cold plunge are vital to ensuring a seamless experience throughout the year.
  • Does the cold plunge need power?
Yes, the cold plunge does require power to operate efficiently. The cold plunge unit operates at a maximum of 8 amps, so ensure you have an appropriate power supply or extension cord rated for this amperage. The cold plunge should continuously run to maintain its desired temperature and provide the optimal experience.
